Our Programs
WELLNESS GRANTS
The Survivor’s Nest Wellness Grants program helps bridge that gap by providing healthy grocery store gift cards, cancer-supportive nutrition resources, and wellness education tailored to the unique needs of women in active treatment and survivorship. Through this program, women gain access to nourishing foods that support healing, strength, and overall well-being during one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives.
CAREGIVER SUPPORT
The people who show up for women fighting cancer deserve to be shown up for too. Every November, during National Caregiver Awareness Month, we honor deserving caregivers with a fully funded Caregiver Restoration Grant. Each recipient chooses the experience that restores them most: a spa day or wellness retreat, a weekend staycation, or respite care so they can finally rest knowing their loved one is supported. Because caregivers cannot pour from an empty cup.
WELLNESS BOXES
From the moment of diagnosis, we want every woman to know she is not alone. Our Wellness Boxes are curated with care and delivered directly to newly diagnosed patients and mothers navigating cancer through our oncology office partners and directly to our community. Each box includes non-toxic, clean personal care products, healthy lifestyle resources, and handheld fitness equipment like resistance bands, hand grippers, jump ropes, and yoga mats. For many of the women we serve, this box is their first introduction to clean living and the beginning of a whole new relationship with their health.
MOVEMENT AS MEDICINE
Movement is one of the most powerful tools in cancer recovery and one of the least accessible. Our Movement as Medicine program brings cancer adapted fitness directly to women in treatment and survivorship through quarterly events including dance fitness pop-ups, yoga, group boot camps, and walking challenges. Held in studios, outdoors, and virtually, these events are free, fun, and built for every body. Regular physical activity reduces fatigue, supports immune function, lowers the risk of heart disease, and decreases the chance of cancer recurrence.
