Diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer at 34, April Smith conquered breast cancer with traditional cancer treatment; however, she was led to get in the driver's seat and take control of her health. She also took a holistic approach to healing which allowed her to overcome many side effects and mental distress. Mrs. Smith founded "The Survivor's Nest, Inc." to assist women facing cancer with resources to heal their mind, body, and soul.
