The Survivor’s Nest Wellness Grant application cycle opens Monday, November 9, and closes Friday, November 20.
If you’re facing financial hardship while in active treatment for breast cancer, we invite you to apply for support with healthy food, herbal supplements, or self-care.
Grant recipients will be notified by November 30.

Support for Your Wellness Journey
Our Wellness Grants help ease the financial burden of breast cancer while supporting your nourishment, comfort, and wellbeing.

Available Grants
​

Healthy Food Grants — $300: Assistance with purchasing healthy foods to support your nutritional needs.

Herbal Supplement Grants — $300: Assistance with the cost of herbal supplements.

Self-Care Grants — $150: Support for relaxation, restoration, and rejuvenation.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:

Reside in Georgia. Consideration is given to proven hardship outside of Georgia

Be experiencing financial hardship due to cancer.

Be in active treatment for cancer.

Not have received financial assistance from The Survivor’s Nest within the past 24 months.

What Qualifies as Active Treatment?
​
Active treatment includes surgery, radiation, medication, or other therapies intended to cure cancer, reduce it, or stop its progression.
​
For this grant program, active treatment does not include reconstructive surgery or long-term hormonal therapies, including Tamoxifen, Fareston, Arimidex, Aromasin, Femara, Zoladex/Lupron, Megace, and Halotestin.

Required Documentation
​
Approval requires a doctor’s note on official letterhead confirming that you are currently in active treatment for breast cancer. The note must be dated within the past three months.

Caregiver Grant Eligibility

Must currently provide care for an individual undergoing cancer care.

Must not have received a grant from The Survivor’s Nest within the past two years.
